Lekhwiya midfielder Karim Boudiaf has suffered an injury to his the heel, more specifically to ligaments in his lower leg, the incident happened during the team’s preseason training in Turkey.<br />

According to medical staff, the injury will cause the midfielder to be on the sidelines for at least the next two weeks.<br />
 <br />
Boudiaf couldn't continue playing during the friendly game against Turkish side Besiktas, playing just 15 minutes.<br />
 <br />
Lekhwiya is already missing two players due to injury, they are Chico Flores and Vladimir Weiss.<br />
 <br />
There are also doubts regarding to the participation of central defender Chico Flores in the up-coming AFC Champions League fixture against Al Hilal on the 25th of August in Riyadh, KSA.
