Al Sadd Sports Club General Secretary Mr. Jassim Al-Rumaihi expressed his joy and happiness for the arrival of Spanish superstar Xavi Hernandez at Doha’s Hamad International airport last night.

Al-Rumaihi spoke about the deal with Xavi at the airport and said, “Firstly I would like to thank Xavi for choosing Al-Sadd. There is no doubt that Xavi is considered a huge asset to any team he plays for as well as a huge being a great asset for Qatari football. He is a very well-known star all over the world; this will benefit our football team a lot.”

Al-Rumaihi added: “Al-Sadd always manages to sign big names, just like we did with Raul Gonzales.  I hope that Xavi will achieve many titles with our club as he did for Barcelona.”
