QSL side El Jaish are set to leave Doha on Sunday, ahead of their historic AFC Champions League semifinal encounter against UAE side Al Ain.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side trained for the final time on Saturday evening at their Qatar University base, ahead of the short trip to Dubai on Sunday afternoon.

El Jaish have been handed a boost ahead of the tie, welcoming back Brazilian Lucas Mendez back into the squad after serving his one match ban in the 1-0 quarter final victory over Al Nasr.

The club has also confirmed that summer signing Seydou Keita has recovered from an injury received in Jaish’s 4-3 win over Al Arabi in the Qatar Stars League.  The former Malian international was substituted early in the first half as a precaution.
