Al Ahli Football Club has signed a contract with Iranian defender Pejman Montazeri from Umm Salal.  The player has been brought in to add some backbone to the Brigadier’s defence.  Pejman will replace fellow Iranian Jalal Husseini who has left the team.

Montazeri signed a two-year contract last Saturday in the presence of Al Ahli Club officials who welcomed the player and wished him the best of luck.

Al Ahli also now seeks to sign with two other foreign players as their star striker Alain Dioko left for Al Gharafa and midfielder Mulota Kabangu has also left the greens as well.
