QSL champions Al Rayyan have been handed a timely injury boost ahead of their fifth round encounter against Al Kharaitiyat. The Lions confirmed that both goalkeeper Saud Al Hajiri and influential striker Sebastian Soria have returned to first team training on Tuesday evening.
The news will be a huge boost for head coach Michael Laudrup, who initially claimed that Soria could have been out for a month after straining his hamstring against Al Sailiya.
However now, Soria has recovered ahead of schedule and now could be in contention for a starting place against the Thunders.
Michael Laudrup has yet to register a victory with Al Rayyan since joining the club three weeks ago, however Al Rayyan are still unbeaten in the QSL and sit in fifth place in the standings.
