QSL side El Jaish has revealed that striker Abdulgadir Ilyas will be absent from first team training for ten days after picking up a calf injury. 

The news will be a major blow for Jaish coach Sabri Lamouchi who had been using Ilyas as one of his key attacking options in recent weeks. The injury will mean that the striker will miss the AFC Champions League play-off game against Bunyodkor on Tuesday evening. Along with the round 20 QSL clash against relegation threatened Al Shahania on Saturday evening. 

El Jaish are currently in fourth place in the QSL standings with a tally of 36 points from 19 QSL matches.
