Al Sadd Sports Club Moroccan head Coach Hussein Ammota expressed his happiness for winning the title of Emir Cup yesterday.
 
He went on to say that it was a huge achievement to hold the record for the most wins of the Emir Cup.
 
Ammota said, “I would like to thank all players, the technical staff, the officials and the fans for contributing to this title.”
 
The Moroccan Head Coach pointed out that this title will motivate the team to continue with their victories especially in next Tuesday’s crucial AFC Round of 16 matches against Lekhwiya. 
 
The first leg ended in Lekhwiya’s favour as they ran out 2-1 winners.
 
Ammota concluded by saying: “The greatest honor of all was shaking hands with His Highness the Emir of Qatar.”
