Both team Al Sailiya and El Jaish are currently enjoying good QSL seasons, despite  Sailiya dropping points to table topping  Al Rayyan 2-1, whilst last time out El Jaish defeated Al Ahli 1-0.<br />

Both sides have been on fine form over the last few months, which will make for an exciting match when the teams face each other on Sunday the 3^rd of January at Al Gharafa stadium, kick off at 18:45pm.<br />

In previous encounters both teams met on six occasions in addition to this season’s 2015/2016 first leg match. El Jaish have certainly had the better of their rivals over recent years.<br />

El Jaish ran out winner in both ties for the 2012/2013 season. In the first leg Jaish registered a  2-0 win, whilst the solders ran out winners again in the second leg winning 2-1.<br />

Jaish also had the upper hand in the first leg of the 2013/2014 season winning 1-0 whilst the second leg match was a 1-1 draw.<br />

In the 2014/2015 season El Jaish where firmly in command winning comprehensively against the Peregrines. Jaish  won twice 5-1 and 3-1 respectively.<br />
