Qatar Stars League CEO Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan  has assured that an internal investigation is underway under his direct supervision within the QSL over the mistake relating to misprinted time on sold tickets for the the Al Arabi versus Al Sadd match on Saturday evening. 

Mr Hani also stressed that the mistake proved to be an inadvertent error on the behalf of a staff member working on the system. He also expressed his apologies to everyone who was affected by this error, pointing out that individuals will be contacted in order to compensate for the damage, whether the price of tickets or free tickets for further QSL games.

Mr. Ballan also emphasised that the error is considered a joint one between the employee responsible for the system and the QSL Marketing & Communications Department. Moreover, Mr. Ballan didn’t exclude himself from the liability in his capacity as the CEO of the Qatar Stars League repeating his apologies to all QSL stakeholders and affiliates from the QFA, clubs and fans. Mr Balan also promised that such errors will be avoided in future.
