Al Sailiya Sports Club’s Head of Football Mr. Hadi Al Marri said that defender Grigore, who just arrived from French Club Toulouse for one season, will be a huge asset to the team, “Both the technical staff and AL Sailiya officials have observed him in the past few months with his national team and with Toulouse F.C. He is a key player in the Romanian National Team. Just three days ago he represented his country.”Grigore signed his contract with the Doha based side on Tuesday morning in the presence of the Club President Abdullah Al-Aidah.
The defender will now leave Qatar once again as he heads back to his homeland. He will then return to Doha on the 5th of July to take part in preseason training.
The club is seeking to sign two more foreign players to fulfil the QFA rule of 3 plus 1.
