Al Gharafa continued preperations for the start of their QSL season with a 3-1 victory over Qatar Gas League side Muaither. 

The Cheetahs eased to the victory thanks to goals from new signings Alain Dioko & Yassine Chikhaoui. Gharafa have so far not played a game in the Qatar Stars League, as their tie with champions Lekwiya was posponed due to their commitments in the AFC Champions League. 

Gharafa will kick off their QSL season on Friday the 18th of September against Meisameer at the Thani Bin Jassim stadium.
