Al Rayyan Sports Club Board which is chaired by Sheikh Saoud Bin Khalid Al Thani has chosen the Uruguayan Head Coach Fusati to take over position of the first team coach, replacing the Spaniard Manuel Jimenez.

Fusati will officially assume the position effective from the pre-season training period this summer. Al Rayyan returned to the Qatar Stars League after spending one season in the Qatar Gas League.

Fusati is no stranger to the QSL having coached Al Sadd from 2010 to 2012.
