Al Kharaitiyat will play a friendly match against Al-Fateh of Saudi Arabia; it will be the last friendly match for the Thunders. The Saudi team is already in Doha and will play against Kharaitiyat this Wednesday.

Al-Kharaitiyat’s Deputy Head of Football Mr. Mansour Moussa stated that the team’s preparation for the Qatar Stars League is going well.

The first friendly match was against the Myanmar National Team and ended in a 1-1 draw, followed by a friendly win over Muaither 3-2.

The technical staff led by Frenchman Mr. Bertrand Marchand identified the players’ current fitness and level of technical ability, and gave most of the players an opportunity to participate in the friendly matches. This period was also a good opportunity to rest certain players and let others recover.

Meanwhile, Qatar Sports Club will host Al-Qadisiyah of Saudi Arabia in a friendly match on Monday evening in the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium as part of the team’s preparation for Qatar Stars League which will soon resume.

Qatar Sports Club is in 6th position with 16 points. The Kings are looking to maintain their blazing run of victories after a poor start to the season.
