Al Rayyan  head coach Jorge Fossati assured that the derby victory over Al Arabi wasn’t easy at all with the tie as  tough and strong as he just expected,  despite the 5-2 scoreline.

Fossati said in the post match press conference: “Al Rayyan played well against Al Arabi in the view of both sides’ match preformance which made for an exciting game.”

Fossati congratulated Al Arabi on the performance and said: “Al Arabi played very well despite the loss.”

Commenting on the scoreline, he said: “No I didn’t expect such huge win but I anticipated a tough game.”

Commenting on the sending off Rajab Hamza, he said: “Indeed this expulsion gave our players more freedom in the field of play in order to add more goals.”

He also considered this game to be one of the best for his team. He also praised the high spirits of the fans who added to the atmosphere of this derby match.
