Al Rayyan have confirmed the capture of former player Fabio Cesar, from QSL side Umm Salal.
The current league leaders had been looking to strengthen their midfield as they push to win their first falcon shield since the 1994/1995 season. Fabio is considered one of the most prominent players in the QSL and the signing was on the recommendation of Al Rayyan coach Jorge Fossati.
Al Rayyan are currently convening a training camp at the Aspire Zone, under the guidance of team management untill the 20th of January 2016.
Fabio could be in contention to face his former side, as early as round 16 of the QSL as Umm Salal face Al Rayyan on January the 28, after the league resumes after the AFC U23 championships, being held in Doha.
