QSL side El Jaish has confirmed their travel plans for their upcoming AFC Champions League play-off match against Iranian side Naft Tehran.
The Soldiers are set to leave Qatar on Sunday evening via private jet to Tehran ahead of their Tuesday evening clash at the Azadi Stadium. If Sabri Lamouchi’s side succeeds against Naft they will be drawn into Group D and will play Al Ain of the UAE, Uzbeki side FC Nasaf and Al Ahli Jeddah.
In other news, the side ramped up their preparations for their round 17 match against Al Kharitiyat. Jaish were boosted with the return of young midfielder Ahmed Moein to training after he completed his loan spell with Belgian side Eupen . Moein could be in contention to play for his side on Thursday afternoon.
El Jaish will take on Al Kharitiyat on Thursday the 4th of Febuary at Al Sadd stadium, K.O at 16:30 pm.
