QSL side El Jaish continued their preparations ahead of the resumption of their QSL campaign on the 2^nd of April with a 3-0 win over Qatar Gas League side Meisameer on Sunday evening.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side ran out comprehensive winners with striker Abdulgadir Ilyas grabbing a brace in the tie, whilst Brazilian attacker Romarinho scoring the third goal of the game. The match will have served as vital preparation for Jaish, who have not played a competitive game in three weeks, due to an extended international break.

Following the friendly, Jaish will now turn their attentions to their crunch round 24 clash when they will take on local rivals Lekhwiya. El Jaish are currently in fourth place in the QSL standings and have 45 points from 23 QSL games so far this season.
