El Jaish has announced the selection of the city of Linz, Austria, for a foreign training camp as the team prepares for the 2016/2017 season.
The training camp will be held from July 23 to August 15, and they will also play four friendly matches which will be determined later.
El Jaish have a difficult task up ahead, especially at the continental level after qualifying for the quarter finals of the AFC champions league for the first time in their history as they dismissed Lekhwiya over two legs in the round of 16.
Their next opponents in the Asian championship will be determined in the draw for the quarter-finals on June 9.
On the other hand, El Jaish club management accepted the resignation of Mr. Rashid Al-Dosari, former head of football staff, and appointed former player Wisam Rizq as the new head of football staff. Al-Dosari resigned from his position due to personal reasons which will not allow him to resume his duties with the football team.
Club management decided to appoint the former player Wisam Rizq as head of football staff because he recently played in the team and knows the circumstances of the players.
Wisam Rizq retired from professional football after a successful career with the Qatar national team and his most recent experience playing for El Jaish.
