El Jaish Sports Club has cancelled their upcoming friendly against Al Shamal which was scheduled for this Friday.

The technical staff headed by Sabri Lamouchi decided not to play any matches until the Qatar Stars League resumes.

The Soldiers will resume their training sessions at Qatar Sports Club training pitches, however their squad is somewhat depleted   due to  players being drafted for both the Qatar National Team as well as Olympic teams.

El Jaish is currently in 2^nd position in the Qatar Stars League table with 20 points. League leaders Al Rayyan have 24 points from eight rounds and are still unbeaten
