El Jaish club’s Head of Football Mr Youssef Dasmal expressed his full satisfaction with the team’s performances during the two recent preseason friendlies played in Austria.
 
Dasmal said in a statement to the club’s official website that the team had a good match against Hellas Verona who is currently playing in Serial A. Dasmal then said he hoped to see a similar level of performance against Udinese Calcio.
 
He added, "The friendly versus Hellas Verona was tough and competitive, the management which is led by Sabri Lamouchi felt that the team benefitted from this preseason clash and that the players are starting to gel.”
 
Dasmal praised the new foreign signings especially the Moroccan Abdel Razaq Hamdallah and the Uzbek Rashidov.
 
He concluded by saying, "The team will now play against a tough team, I hope that El Jaish will benefit from this final friendly game before returning to Doha."
