Lekhwiya’s goalkeeper Claude Amine said in an interview on the club’s official website that the players are training hard, with an intense attitude at their camp in Turkey.
 
The goalkeeper said, "We started our preparations in Doha and now we are in the second phase of our preparations. We have good conditions here, from good weather, good training facilities and comfortable accommodation."
 
Asked about if Lekhwiya will be different this season, he said, "The team develops from season to season and I believe we can accomplish even better results than last season’s achievements. Also, the return of the Head Coach will be a big help. He knows the team very well as he has coached us before. I am happy to be working with him again and let’s hope we can do well in the AFC Champions League.”
 
Commenting further on the AFC Champions League quarterfinal fixture versus Al Hilal, he said, “It is always difficult to play against Al Hilal, as we have to work hard and focus in both legs so as to achieve positive results."
 
Claude Amine was the asked about the Qatar National Team, "Joining the Qatar National Team is an important move for my career and it's a great honour to represent Qatar as we aim to reach the World Cup."
 
Commenting whether he received any offers to go to Europe, he said: "Indeed I received European offers but the club management insisted on keeping me, I feel the confidence and trust that they hold for me so I am happy to stay at Lekhwiya.”
