The pre match press conference of the confrontation between Al-Arabi and Al-Seeb within the GCC Club Championship was held on Monday in Marriott Hotel with the attendance of both teams’ head coaches and one player from each team. The match will be played on Tuesday in Gran Hamad Stadium at 06:00 pm.
Al-Arabi Head Coach Carreno said during the press conference: “My team is suffering from lots of missing players such as Pablo Hernandez, Ezequiel and Nasser Nabil, as the proof to that is the relegation in the league table.”

He also assured that this match against Al-Seeb is very important because it is the very first match after the league stoppage, during which we have been preparing the team in order to gain their first win in this group.

From his side, player Abdel Aziz Hatem assured also the difficulty of this match as we have to gain the match points on our home soil, which is going to be the best start. We have one goal in this competition is to go far to overcome our agony in the league, which will also motivate us to gain better position in the league table.

Dahbour: We Seek Positive Result

Al-Seeb Head Coach Emad Al-Deen Dahbour that the position of both team within the league doesn’t match their history. We didn’t have a good start in the league as we lost many points and we are in the 11^th position in the league table. But this ranking doesn’t indicate anything regarding our performance against Al-Arabi. We know that we will face many difficulties against such big team, which owns good professional and local players. Qatar Stars League is attracting many foregn players with huge experience in the European leagues.
I believe that the league stoppage period in Oman and the Gulf area was beneficial for us in order to prepare our team well.
From his side, Al-Seeb player Abdullah Al-Sheel said that a tough match awaits us against one of the best Qatari teams. We have many information about this team especially their professional players. However we don’t fear their confrontation as we have experienced players.”
