The player indicated that Al Shahania are targting 11th position in the standings which qualifies his side to take part in a play-off match against the runner-up of the Qatar Gas League. With the winner of the tie set to start the 2017/2018 QSL season in the league. Anwar always revealed that he believes his sides round 25 tie against Al Khor is a crucial to his sides fate this season.
Opening up the interview Nabeel noted that his side is hopeful. “nothing is impossible in football and hope is always there even if the odds are small. We have not been relegated officially and we must fight now to the very end. Every point is important to us now.”
“The team didn’t play with full capacity of professional players, for most of the second half of the season, only in one game. Iranian professional player Rahim Zahivi missed most of the matches due to injury as well as his fellow Iranian Mehrdad Poladi who also played only three matches due to injury.
