Whilst the midfielder was immediately clear on what his side was targeting as a points tally from the final three games of the season. “We don’t have to rely on other result, this can only Lekhwiya’s chances to win the title. Our only aim is to collect all nine points; each game will be a final for us.”

Mohamed also was quick to note that his side are targeting more than one trophy this campaign. “We have plenty of strength and depth at Lekhwiya; this has been shown already with our performances in the AFC Champions League. This is down to the strong team management we have, the fact that we are targeting a fifth QSL title also underlines this point.

We are top of the league, and second in our AFC Champions League group. This shows our desire and willingness to win; now we just need one final push in the league so we can win another QSL falcon shield.”
