QSL side Al Wakrah have been handed a timely boost with two key players returning to training ahead of their round 22 clash against bottom side Meisameer.

Midfielders Rúben Amorim & Abdurahman Mohammed returned to training on Wednesday evening for Mauricio Larriera’sside. Former Portuguese international Amorim was serving a two match suspension during teams 5-0 defeat to Al Rayyan after picking up a red card in round 19 against Al Gharafa.

Whilst Abdurahman Mohammed was substituted after picking up a knock against Al Rayyan, thankfully the midfielder who is on loan from Lekhwiya has been deemed fit enough to join in with training by the Al Wakrah medical team.

The Blue Waves take on Meisameer on Thursday evening at Wakrah stadium,  KO at 18:00pm, knowing  that a win can push them away from the QSL relegation zone.
