Yesterday I had a meeting with the players and I said in the last match against Khor we should have done much, much better. We needed to play with more energy. We have to be more aggressive and positive and we will get the results. Against Khor we conceded the first goal and then the match became too open and we lost our formation. I have talked to my players and told them not to repeat this mistake against Gharafa. 
 
But I have to say that nobody has more motivation than our team to stay in the league. We have to be more aggressive - in a positive way of course. Gharafa have lost two matches in a row and they will have the motivation to win. 
 
To be honest I am little surprised about our recent performances. Against Khor we should have had more ambition and taken the full three points which are very important for us. But now God has given us a last chance and we must seize it with both hands. 
 
Before the match against Khor we focused on the psychology of the players and spoke to them about the good moments in this season to get them motivated. The players are showing the motivation during training and now they have to show that during the match too. I am asking our players to give more in this game.
 
It is too early to talk about the next season. First we have this match to deal with. I came a month ago and the situation was very difficult. It's the same now but I hope that we can end on a high note by staying in the league.
 
 

Al Gharafa interim coach Habib Sadiq 
The club administration has asked me to be the head coach after Paqueta's departure. I will continue his work. For me it's not new. I have been with the club for a long time. I know everything about the club and I am ready to help the team. This game comes after two defeats and we will try to prepare the players mentally because in two days you cannot really work on physical aspect or tactics. 
 
This is a very crucial game for Wakrah but it is also important for us because we want to stay in the fifth place. So we will try to prepare our team to show a reaction after the losses and take three points.
 
When we started our season we were playing for the title but game by game things changed. Now we are fifth. If we were playing for the top four and we have managed to reach fifth, we have to look to maintain this position. 
 
This is the fifth time I will be the emergency coach. I have been with the team for 15 years in different positions. So I am here as a member of the Gharafa club staff and I am ready to help the team when they need me. For me I want to help the team. Whether as an emergency coach or not I don't have a problem with that. I am happy with the confidence that the management has showed in me.
 
There is pressure on both sets of players. But I think that the pressure will be more on Wakrah.  Maybe if we compare ourselves with them we are more relaxed. We will still have to play with more concentration. But we will try to avoid the mistakes that we did when we lost 6-1 to them the last time around.
