Al Wakrah have further strengthened their squad ahead of the 2015/2016 season with the signing of left back Hamood Al Yazidi from fellow Qatar Stars League side Al Khor. 

The defender, who has signed a 3 year deal with The Waves expressed his delight at the move in a exclusive interview with QSL online. " I'm very excited to be joining back up with Al Wakrah, and I want to thank the management and staff who made this deal happen."

Al Yazidi is no stranger to the Al Wakrah set up having played last season with the club on loan. The Waves have been busy in the domestic market recently having also secured the services of El Jaish striker Maher Youssef on loan for one season. Wakrah will be looking to improve in 2015/2016, having just avoided relegation from the Qatar Stars league last season.
