Al Wakrah Sports Club Sports Director Jassim Al Tamimi presented his club’s official shield to Italian star Filippo Inzaghi before a friendly match against Lazio.
 
Al Wakrah lost 2-0 to Lazio as the club continues to prepare ahead of the new Qatar Stars League season which will start on September 11.
 
Inzaghi expressed his joy and appreciation with the kind gesture by Al Wakrah Sports Club and thanked Mr Jassim Al Tamimi and wished the Al Wakrah delegation all the best.
 
Despite the loss, the Waves Head Coach José Mauricio said that the team benefitted greatly from the match and that he identified areas for improvement within the team.
