Al Wakrah Sports Club Sports Director Jassim Al Tamimi presented his club’s official shield to Italian star Filippo Inzaghi before a friendly match against Lazio.<br />

Al Wakrah lost 2-0 to Lazio as the club continues to prepare ahead of the new Qatar Stars League season which will start on September 11.<br />

Inzaghi expressed his joy and appreciation with the kind gesture by Al Wakrah Sports Club and thanked Mr Jassim Al Tamimi and wished the Al Wakrah delegation all the best.<br />

Despite the loss, the Waves Head Coach José Mauricio said that the team benefitted greatly from the match and that he identified areas for improvement within the team.
