Al Wakrah will play Al Gharafa this Thursday December 4th in the late kick-off at 18:30 in the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium.

Lazlo Boloni:
“It’s been a short recovery period since our last game, it’s tough but we will be ready, we know this is due to the Asian Cup which will take place next month.”

“Al Wakrah just lost heavily so perhaps we will have to be careful as they will won’t to make up for the previous week’s bad performance.”

“Wakrah does possess some good players and it would be a mistake to underestimate them. They can cause and we must be on our guard. They will want to get back their pride and confidence.”

“Madison is a very important player for us but he is still injured after pulling his hamstring. So we will have to go into the game against Al Wakrah with a different set up.”

Nouradine bin Zakri:
“The last game was strange I don’t think anyone was expecting such a big number of goals. In our friendly matches during the break we won some games and played well. But what happened against QSC has made us think and we are going to work even harder.”

“We have told the players to forget the last defeat but it has not been easy since the loss was so huge. It is important now to try and recover our confidence with a won and this match is our best bet to be honest.”

“Yes to answer your question the transfer window is an option but I have been here now a number of weeks and I have seen that there are some great players here. So the transfer window is a way coaches improve squads but I think that even with new players the mentality is the most important thing we need to improve. If I didn’t think I could improve things then I would be here.”

“The result last week in my eyes was not a true reflection of the potential of my team. Of this, I am sure. I cannot change up the squad much due to injuries so really the same group of players will play in the next game.”
