QSL side Al Sailiya has continued their preparations ahead of the resumption of QSL action with a 2-0 victory over an Armed Forces Select side.Goals from summer signing Paul Efoulou and Omar Traore secured the win for the Perigrines, which will be seen as a morale booster by head coach Sami Trabelsi.
Al Sailiya has yet to register any points in the QSL season, with management deciding to focus on improving the side over the international break. Al Sailiya is set to continue their friendly schedule with Saudi Arabian side Najran Sport Club on the 8th of October.
The Peregrines will take on reigning QSL champions Al Rayyan in the third round of the QSL on Saturday the 15th of October.
