QSL side Al Sailiya has announced the signing of Colombian striker Carlos Preciado, till the end of the season.
The striker has been brought in to replace striker Edinho, who failed to settle at the club, the Brazilian has returned to his former side Tractor Sarzi.
Preciado was signed from Peruvian side Alianza Lima, whom he has scored eight goals with this season. The striker has played for a host of sides in his native Colombia, with Sailiya being is first club in the Middle East. The Perigines will be hoping the striker can hit the ground running, as they look to get into the Qatar cup places.
The Peregrines have wasted no time in the January transfer window also securing the services of promising Al Rayyan midfielder Hamad Al-Obeidi on loan for the rest of the season.
Sami Trabelsi’s side has also organized a friendly match with Qatar Gas League side Al Shamal, along with convening a training camp in Doha from the 12th to the 18th of January in Doha, following the cancelation of their camp in Abu Dhabi.
Sailiya will face bottom side Meisameer when the QSL resumes on the 27th of January.
