Attacking midfielder Ali Mejbil signed a loan deal with Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Al Sailiya. Al Wakrah gave permission for Mejbil to make the move to the Doha based club for one season.The player has already left for Germany where he will join up with his new teammates ahead of the new Qatar Stars League season which will kick off on September 11.
Megbil played with Al Shamal last season but saw his side relegated from the QSL.
Al Sailiyah officials said the move was part of a conscious effort to restore the club back to its previous levels which saw them finish 4th in the 2013/14 season.
The Tunisian Head Coach Sami Trabelsi has put in place a special training programme for the player to catch-up with his teammates and be ready for the commencement of the league in September.
