Al Sailiya Sports Club Head Coach Sami Trabelsi has started preparations for the new season; the pre-season training will start of the 5^th of July and will continue in Germany until the 3^rd of August. The Peregrines will play 4 friendly matches as they look to do better than their 11^th place finish last season.<br />

Trabelsi added that the squad who will fly out to German will consist of 30 players.  He said that he still looking for 3 foreign new players to join the team early and try to not repeat last season’s experience which saw them sign deals very late. <br />

He said: “We are looking for three foreign players, the Bahraini Fawzi Ayesh is already signed and hails from Asia, so the rest of the signing can be from anywhere in the world.”<br />

With regards to local players he added: “We are working on finalizing some other negotiations with local players. We have already signed Mahmoud Attiya and Ali Abdullah from Al Shahania."<br />
