Al Sailiya head coach Sami Trabelsi was feeling the pressure and needed another win. The Peregrines who last season finished a very respectable 4th in the league had a dreadful start to their campaign this year but secured all three points tonight when they beat Al Ahli by two goals to one.<br />
<br />
Sailiya took on Al Ahli at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Al Wakrah town and a win would see the Peregrines move up to 8th spot in the league.<br />
<br />
Yet it was the away side that got off to the better start when Al Ahli’s star midfielder Mojtaba Jabari poked home the opener (22’).<br />
<br />
 But Al Sailiya responded almost immediately as they went up the other end just 3 minutes later and leveled through their new Tunisian striker Issam Jemaa.<br />
<br />
The game was finely poised as the two teams went in for the break.<br />
<br />
After the restart both sides had chances but were wasteful.<br />
<br />
It looked as if the game would end in a draw but then Sailiya were awarded a penalty with just 10 minutes of the game left. Faozi Mubark Ayish stepped up and with his teammates all watching, he calmly slotted home the winner.<br />

Al Ahli moves down to 7th whilst Al Sailiya moves up to 8th with 17 points in the Qatar Stars League.
