Match kick-off at 16:45 Fri, Feb 13th, 2015 in the Jassim bin Hamad stadium

Al Sadd head coach Hussien Amotta:
“After the draw against Wakrah, we lost the top spot in the rankings and so we don't have any other choice but to win this match to stay close to Lekhwiya. There are tired players after the game against Riffa in the Asian Champions League and we might be missing some players. But we will try to do the best with the group that we have and give our maximum efforts.”

“Nadir Belhadj is ready. Khalfan Ibrahim is ready. Graffiti is not at 100 per cent. Maybe next game Grafitti will play.”

“We play against Umm Salal who are one of the most stable teams this year. To win against them we will need to play our best game. If we win against them it will be a difficult win because they are very good defensively.”

“I think my players give the maximum during all the games. We need to tweak a few things but when you see the performance and the courage of my players, I am satisfied. We need one striker. And once Grafiti comes in, things will be better.”

“We are still in competition with Lekhwiya for the title. I think we still have a chance for the title. The gap of two points is difficult but it's not impossible. Maybe the difference between the two teams is that they have more choices than us at the moment.”

“From our experience, the game against Lekhwiya won't be the title decider. When you want to win the title, you have to win against your biggest rivals but also against other strong opponents.”

Umm Salal head coach Bulent Ugyun:
“I congratulate Sadd for the win in the Asian Champions League. It was a good result for them. Sadd is one of the best teams in Qatar. They have a good coach and strong players. They have the quality.”

“Our game against Sadd is very important. It’s not easy because they are a strong team and they are playing to win. We also want to get a victory and get to the fourth place in the table. We will have some injured players and we don't have a lot of choices but we are going to do our best.”

“Maybe for you Sadd is not too strong a team right now but they have good players and international players with lots of experience. But Umm Salal plays with a fighting spirit and we prepared our tactics for our upcoming opponents.”

“Of course the win against Shamal was good for the team. Especially when you don't have a lot of players, the result is really good. One of the Turkish historical poets had said that what happened yesterday stays in the past. So we are talking about tomorrow. We will use what happened yesterday, the good and the bad, to learn and move ahead.”

“Only Ahmed Fathi is injured.”
