This game will not affect the rankings for either side. The result will not change anything. But I hope that we have a good game. The most important thing is that we are second in the table and this game is a very big opportunity for some players who haven't played much this season. 
 
In four days’ time we have a Champions League game. It is time to rest to some players for this match. So the game will be a big chance for the young players. 

As for our big loss in the Asian Champions League, as I have said before - we played that game in Uzbekistan under very difficult circumstances. We had many injures, especially in defence. We were lucky this season to have great players in the offensive line which help us score a lot of goals. Unfortunately in that game we had five clear chances to score, but we couldn't convert them. 

But that's done now and it's very important to finish the league with a good result. We are forced to rest to a few players because they have played a lot games and they are tired. And we have a very important game coming up.

Until now we haven't talked about the ACL game because we wanted to focus on the Shamal match. And after that we will prepare for the ACL game. Our players have the professional mentality to deal with these kinds of games and these kinds of situations.

Everybody knows the quality that Sadd have. Also from my point of view, Sadd is the best team in the league. And Khalfan Ibrahim is one of the best players. 
 
This is the last game for us this season. We have to be serious and professional like we have shown in the games up until now. Also this is one more chance for my players to showcase their talent.

Maybe Sadd will play with a weakened squad but they have a great second team. We have to focus on our players and our strategy. We can't think of Sadd playing with a second string team. We have to take them very seriously. 

Until now no one has talked to me about my position as a coach. God will decide for me and everyone.

The target for Shamal is to build a strong team and come back quickly to the first division. I believe that you win or lose the season before it actually starts, not during the season. If you bring in the right players, at the right time then it will go a long way in helping the club perform during the season.
