A press conference was convened on Wednesday evening at Al Sadd Club in the presence of the Club Vice President Mr. Mubarak Nasser Al Ali and a number of the former players to speak about the exhibition held for Al Sadd veterans from the 12th to the 16th of February 2017 on the sideline of the National Sports Day in Katara – Building 18.

The Chairman of the Senior Football Players Committee was also present in the press conference alongside some of the senior players such as Nasser Salem, Saif Al Hajari, Mohamed Wafa, Hassan Mutar, Jaffal Rashed and Mubarak Anbar.

During the press conference, the preparations for the exhibition, which will be through the review process of the achievements of Al Sadd and the players were addressed.

The Chairman of the Senior Football Players Committee Mr. Ali Al Ali spoke during the press conference and extended the invitation to all the sports family in Qatar to visit such exhibition, indicating that the committee members will meet on regular basis with the football stakeholders in order to share the opinions and views as well as the needs of the senior players. Noting that this exhibition is not only an honouring for Al Sadd players but also for all the other clubs.

Former Al Sadd player Saif Al Hajari said that the good relations within Al Sadd Club is the foundation of the achievements which were accomplished, and no one will ever forget that Al Sadd is the number one source of players to the Qatari national teams since its establishment in 1969.
