Al Sadd is scheduled to return to Doha on Sunday evening as they start to reach the end of their preseason overseas training camp.
 
The team was based in Austria from the 25th of July until the 9th of August in the town of Kaprun; it is the fifth consecutive year that the Wolves have been based in the small alpine town.
 
The team played three friendlies during their overseas programme, firstly the wolves took on Al Nasser, new signing Xavi scored a great freekick but Sadd eventually lost 2-1. Then Sadd played out a tough goalless draw against Emirati side Al Ain and lastly they played Al Wahda winning by a single goal.
