Al Sadd’s first team will play a friendly match against Mesaimeer this Saturday, as part of preparations for the upcoming match in Round 9 of the QSL when they look to face Al Kharaitiyat on November 22. 
 
​ A number of Qatari players were absent from training as they are currently involved with the senior and Olympic national teams.
 
Training on Wednesday took place over two sessions with Khalfan Ibrahim joining the team after excusing himself from international duty due to personal reasons.
 
Al Sadd is in the 3^rd position in the Qatar Stars League table with 18 points. They have five wins, three draws and no losses.
