QSL side Al Sadd have confirmed their squad ahead of their crunch AFC Champions League play off game against Iranian side Esteghlal. Jesaldo Ferriera’s side trained on Sunday evening, before heading to the Iranian capital Teheran. The tie is set to be played on Tuesday evening. 

Understandably Al Sadd have brought an experienced squad for the must win match. The likes of Xavi, Hassan Haydoos and Iranian defender Morteza Pouraliganji have all been selected to be part of the squad for the play-off at Azadi Stadium. 

 Al Sadd will be hoping for a confidence boosting win, after faltering in the QSL to Al Shahania with a 1-1 draw last time out. The Wolves are now currently five points behind league leaders Lekhwiya.
