Al Rayyan Sports Club officials have decided to convene the football team’s preparation for the new season with a training camp in the Netherlands. The training camp will be convened in August for duration of three weeks, during which the team will play a number of friendly games.The team will also undergo a number of technical and physical drills with the aim of preparing the players for the new season.
Al Rayyan was promoted back to the Qatar Stars League and will take part in the 2015/16 QSL season.
Al-Rayyan have also qualified to the semifinal of the GCC Club Championship, the team already played the first leg against Al-Seeb in Muscat, Oman which ended in a goalless draw. The team is expected to play the second leg on the 19th of May in Doha, and in the event Al-Rayyan wins, the team will play the final in Doha on the 27th of May.
