Al Rayyan captain Rodrigo Tabata will be out for up to two weeks after suffering a hamstring tear during his side’s 1-0 victory over Al Khor.

Tabata was forced off midway through the first half after being pressured by Khor’s Abdullah Al Yazidi and will definitely miss Rayyan’s round 19 match against Al Arabi on Saturday.
Tabata is the latest Rayyan star to be hit by injury.

Spanish striker Sergio Garcia and South Korean Koh Myong-jin are both spending time in the treatment room, along with Mohammed Salah Al Neel, who recently underwent surgery after suffering a leg fracture during a Qatar Gas League game against Al Kharaitiyat.

Rayyan, who are currently 16 points clear at the top of the QSL, will resume training on Monday as they look forward to facing Gianfranco Zola’s men.
