Al Rayyan Sports Club officially signed Paraguayan defender Victor Cáceres from Brazilian club Flamingo. He becomes Al Rayyan’s third foreign player and joins Spanish striker Sergio Garcia and Korean Ku Meyoung as the club looks to make a solid comeback in the Qatar Stars League.

Al Rayyan Sports Club President Sheikh Saoud Bin Khaled Al Thani announced that Cáceres will join the training sessions effective from next Sunday.

In a tweet by the Club President it was confirmed that the Brazilian Club had been paid for the player.

Cáceres has played for many football clubs in Paraguay before he transferred to Flamingo in 2012.
