QSL league leaders Al Rayyan have convened a closed training camp during the three week break in league action for the AFC U23 Championships being held in Doha.The camp will be based in the Aspire Zone, and will be till the 20th of January. The Lions have given no further details of any friendly matches planned, as they prepare for a challenging second half of the season.
Al Rayyan currently have a 10 point lead at the top of the QSL table, and will be looking to push on to lift their first falcon shield since the 1994/1995 season.
On Sunday the side had double training sessions at the Aspire Zone, with team management eager to focus on team fitness. Al Rayyan will face Umm Salal when the QSL resumes on the 28th of January.
