QSL leaders Al Rayyan will assess the fitness of defender Musa Haroon after he picked up a knock during the 2-1 win over Al Sailiya on Monday night.

The Qatar international will undergo tests at Aspetar today in order to determine the extent of his injury. Musa has already been ruled out of Rayyan’s next fixture, against Al Kharaitiyat on 2 January 2016.

Rayyan coach Jorge Fossati highly rates Haroon, who has had a strong season in the Lions backline alongside Nathan Otavio and  Gonzalo Viera.

Rayyan are currently enjoying a big lead at the top of the QSL after winning 13 of their opening 14 matches.
