Al Rayyan Football Club returned back to Qatar Stars League after defeating Al Ahli’s reserves in the Qatar Gas League by five goals to nil in the match played yesterday’s evening in Thani Bin Jassem Stadium.

With this result Al Rayyan reached 42 points and is at the top of the league table, four points ahead of Mesaimeer and eight points ahead of Muaither. Al-Rayyan will need to win their upcoming match to officially be crowned the champions of Qatar Gas League.

Tabata (two goals), Nathan, Hamed Ismail and Baro scored for the Lions as the team took advantage of the draw between Muaither and Al-Gharafa’s reserves in the other match.

Al Rayyan were extremely happy and celebrated at the end of their match against Al Ahli reserves.
