QSL side Al Ghrafa have been handed an injury blow after announcing that defender Tameem Al-Muhizea will be sidelined for three months.
The young right-back underwent a successful surgery on his knee over the weekend in Barcelona, following an injury sustained in training. Al-Muhizea had started both of Al Gharafa’s opening two games of the season against Al Ahli and Lekhwiya and his absence will be a blow to the Cheetah’s defensive ranks.
In other news Al Gharafa captain Bilal Mohammed continued individual training, as he prepares to get back into first team training. Bilal suffered an injury in Al Gharafa’s opening game of the season against Al Ahli and has been absent from the side ever since.
Al Gharafa will take on Al Shahania in the fourth round of QSL action on Thursday evening at Al Arabi stadium.
