He added that the team has attained a good technical and physical level and that the technical staff prepared the players in an optimum way to reach the highest levels of readiness for the season ahead.<br />

Al Khor has played two friendly games during their overseas training camp, the first of which was versus the Dutch second division side Sparta Rotterdam which ended in a 3-3 draw, whilst the second was against Al Rayyan with the blues won 2-1.<br />

Jaffal commented on the friendly against Al Rayyan saying, "This was a friendly game and the result was not so important but it was good to see how we responded."<br />

He explained that there will be a third and final friendly against an African team to be played on August 19.<br />
 <br />
He concluded by adding,   “All the players are doing their best as well as the new technical staff who are led by Frenchman Jean Fernandez, I wish the team all the best during the new season."
