Match kick-off Thursday, April 16th 18:15 at the Al Khor stadium

Al Khor head coach Lazlo Boloni
We are playing Umm Salal. From our side there will not be a lot of changes. Mustafa Jamal is still absent because he is injured. We have other players absent because of their participation in the U17 national team. It's a game which will help both teams improve their position in the table and so we will have to be serious and play with full concentration. We know that we are playing a team with good players and we also know that we will have to play at our best if we want to win.

Khor is always trying to help players and trying to give them the possibility to improve in order to help their future and help the future of the team also. We need more choices when it comes to players - a bigger squad. And the club needs to find these kinds of players. And they need to find them early if they want to improve in the standings.

I had small meeting with the Federation and told them that it is important that all teams open the possibility to include young players and that will increase the talent pool for all the clubs.

I cannot work with 35 players. If I want to conduct a good training, I don't need that many players.  My ideal is that I have 22 players out of which I have 5-6 young players. That is important.

Talking as the coach of Khor, there is a big difference for us whether we play with three or four foreign players. I will not compare with teams that have a large squad. But for us we need four foreign players. For example we play three players in the offensive line and then we can't put a foreign player in the defensive line and that makes it difficult for us.

Umm Salal head coach Uygun Bulent
We won our last game against Qatar SC despite having some injuries. We had a good game and got a good result. Our game tomorrow against Khor will not be easy.  Our ambition is to finish our season with a victory.

We also finish with a good result that will help us in our preparation for the Emir Cup. Hopefully our injured players will come back and we will be able to put in a strong challenge for the Emir Cup.

I think we had a small group and then when we really needed a striker, we got one in Murad Naji but he left so that caused a lot of problems for us. But we continued with the players that we had and tried to get good results.

On the whole, there were some games in which we played well but lost points because we were unlucky. I think that played a large role in us missing out on a top-4 spot.

I have good relations with the club president. My ambition is to get good results and to win titles with this club. I also have a personal reason in going after those good results because I am the first Turkish coach in Qatar. I want to do good things for Qatari football.

As for why Murad Naji had to leave - he didn't respect the rules and he didn't give what we wanted. Players need to respect the team and the coach.

Ahmed Fathi is still missing.
