DOHA: Qatar Stars League (QSL) giants Al Gharafa have confirmed the return of influential midfielder Ibrahim Al Ghanem following an absence because of dental treatment.
"Ibrahim Al Ghanem has rejoined his teammates and resumed training,"
the club said in a statement on Thursday.
In another development, captain Bilal Mohammed also joined the team on Wednesday after recovering from an ankle injury that kept him out of the side of recent QSL games.
Meanwhile, the club on Thursday confirmed Al Gharafa will play a friendly game against Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia at Aspire Academy's pitch number 7.
The friendly has been scheduled to give the players match practice as QSL is in a lull due to a break for FIFA World Cup qualifying matches around the globe.
Al Gharafa will play Al Arabi in their next QSL match on November 19 at at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium.
In round six, Al Gharafa beat Al Wakrah 2-0.
They now have a tally of 8 points from 6 matches.
